ModifiedMincho-16.bdf is a Japanese bitmap unicode font 

This should be a unicode version of the jis font shinonome mincho. It 
contains the Japanese gliphs,  and gliphs (see screenshot) for the 
latin characters below:

I'll put the date on the tarred archive to avoid confusion between versions.

The very first version of Modified Mincho had a wrong device width for the latin
glips and displayed too wide; I fixed that in modified_mincho-2006-04-26d.tar.

I discoverd that U+77ac (瞬) and U+5eca (廊) had both 瞬. Fixed that
in the archive modified_mincho-2007-12-06.tar.gz.

Turns out that U+9e92 (麓) also displayed 瞬 (U+77ac). Replaced an updated
version of ModifiedMinchoMedium-16.bdf in the archive 
modified_mincho-2009-11-08.tar.gz.
